Oliver Hübel

Disciple of Master Chen Ziqiang, Oliver Hübel is a dedicated practitioner and founder of the Chenjiagou Taijiquan School Germany, committed to the transmission of Chen Family Taijiquan throughout Germany.

Oliver Hübel, originally from Germany, holds an academic background in philosophy, with a focus on ethics and the concept of “great health,” inspired by the work of Friedrich Nietzsche. His path in the internal arts developed over more than 30 years of practice in Taiji and Qigong, gradually leading him to a deep engagement with the traditional principles of Chinese martial culture.
Throughout his journey, he trained in both Yang and Chen styles of Taijiquan, eventually dedicating himself fully to the Chen tradition under the guidance of Master Chen Ziqiang. He was accepted as a direct disciple (Chen Shao Zi, 陈少子), becoming part of the 21st generation of the Chen family lineage. Based in Berlin, he is the founder of the Chenjiagou Taijiquan School Germany, where he continues to transmit the teachings he has received with commitment and respect for the integrity of the tradition.
